The Power and Empowerment of Alliances


Long before cloud computing had entered the vernacular, the IT services reseller community was firmly established as trusted advisors to millions of businesses and organizations. They had the computer and network expertise, as well as the vertical business acumen. They still do. However, just as the cloud has brought creative disruption to the delivery of IT services generally, it has brought it to “the channel” as well.

Traditional channel models are in the midst of upheaval. Clients want the benefits of cloud computing, and they want their IT services partners to help them. Those who are able to make the transition to new hybrid business models that utilize cloud infrastructure can continue to prosper. Pity those who cannot.

Some may elect to build up their own infrastructure and become cloud service providers in their own right. Most will find that forbiddingly expensive and dauntingly complex. For them, Peak 10 is undertaking a focused business development effort in 2014 called the Partner Alliance Program. This is a national campaign to recruit resellers of our infrastructure and cloud services, and those who will use Peak 10 as the “powered by” component of their own service-delivery models.

Peak 10 continually monitors and adjusts to these types of changes in buyer-preference shifts and evolving user expectations in order to deliver the optimal customer experience. Building a rich partner ecosystem that can leverage our extensive resources and versatile, flexible infrastructure is smart business. However, it also sparks innovative thinking. It drives Peak 10 to remain at the forefront of technology, tools, services and capabilities, which makes us a stronger business advisor and a better collaborative partner.

With the strategic Partner Alliance Program, we’ll be complementing our marketing and services delivery, extending our geographic and vertical reach and tapping additional resources to create the best solutions possible for customers.
