We’re extremely pleased to have Chad Buzzard back at Peak 10 as director of cloud infrastructure.
During his first two years here Chad implemented Peak 10’s first Cisco UCS/Nexus cloud infrastructure, in conjunction with a Cisco Advanced Services team. If he had to leave us to go anywhere, we’re happy it was to Cisco as a systems engineer in its commercial business, and only for 15 months.
Given his deep familiarity with our IaaS architecture and Cisco UCS (unified computing systems) technology, he is the perfect guy to take on the challenge of increasing the efficiency, scale and manageability of our fast-growing cloud services business.
Chad discovered his affinity for computer technology in the Air Force, where he trained as a computer communications specialist. He’s been a hands-on guy ever since. He has five Cisco certifications, including CCNP (network professional) and CCDP (design professional). Asked what motivates him, he says, “I love finding better ways to do things and engineering creative solutions that solve problems for customers; I’m very success driven.”
Chad’s manager concurs. “He has all the tools,” said Ronnie Frames, vice president of network & cloud infrastructure. “He is super bright technically, understands strategy and sees the big picture. It’s great having him back on the team.”
From everyone at Peak 10, welcome back, Chad!
