CINCINNATI (October 18, 2011) – Peak 10 Inc., a managed services and cloud provider with world-class data centers, announced today that it will be presenting the Cincinnati Executive Series beginning in October 2011. Technology and business professionals throughout the state are invited to attend in order to network and gain new insight regarding best business practices and emerging technical trends.
The series will consist of four events delivered by respected industry experts who will address the financial considerations of IT, preparation for IPv6, cybercrime in business, and tips for leadership success. Speakers include HP’s Chief Creatologist Joe Batista, American Registry for Internet Numbers (ARIN) President and CEO John Curran, a Special Agent from the FBI’s Cybercrimes Division, and motivational speaker and author, Randy Dobbs.
The four executive events will cover the following topics:
- “What IT Executives Want Their CFOs to Know: Creating Alignment of Interests for Business Outcomes,” will feature Joe Batista, chief creatologist of HP. He will discuss the renewed focus of cost savings and how it has forced many IT organizations to do more with less, especially after the recent recession.
- “IPv6: Where do we begin?” will be led by ARIN President and CEO John Curran. He will address the current state of IP, specifics of IPv6 and some of the transition strategies currently being considered in the industry.
- In “The New Supervillain: FBI vs. Cybercrime,” an FBI Cybercrimes Special Agent will share his view on the current state of cybercrime and its effect on the business community.
- Motivational speaker and author Randy Dobbs will lead “Transformational Leadership,” an informative event discussing the skills necessary to drive success.
“We are pleased to be hosting the Cincinnati Executive Series and to have the unique opportunity to network with these renowned industry professionals,” said Ernest Leffler, the vice president and general manager of Peak 10 Cincinnati. “These topics are top of mind for many business leaders and this exchange of expertise will help educate and enhance the region’s business and technology community.”
