Senior Manager for Support Services Wins Customer Service Manager of the Year

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (Mar. 22, 2011)- Peak 10 Inc., a managed services company with world-class data centers, announced it has been nationally recognized for the third consecutive year by the fifth annual Stevie® Awards for Sales & Customer Service. Jeffrey Brooks, Peak 10’s senior manager for support services, was named the winner of the Customer Service Manager of the Year category. The company was named a finalist in both the Front-Line Customer Service Team of the Year and the Customer Service Department of the Year—IT & Telecommunications categories.

The awards are presented by the Stevie Awards, which organizes several of the world’s leading business awards shows including the prestigious American Business AwardsSM and International Business AwardsSM. Nicknamed the Steviesfor the Greek word meaning “crowned,” the trophies were presented to honorees during a gala banquet on Monday, Feb. 21 at the Eden Roc Renaissance Hotel in Miami Beach, Fla. Nominated customer service and sales executives from the U.S. and several other countries attended. The event benefited Camfed, which supports the education of girls and women in Africa.

“This year’s class of honorees illustrates that no matter your organization’s size, industry, budget or location, it’s possible to excel at the two most important functions in business: acquiring and keeping customers,” said Michael Gallagher, the president of the Stevie Awards. More than 800 entries from organizations of all sizes and in virtually every industry were submitted to this year’s competition, an increase of more than 60 percent over 2010. There were 25 categories for customer service professionals, including Contact Center of the Year, Award for Innovation in Customer Service and Customer Service Department of the Year, as well as 40 categories for sales professionals ranging from Global Sales Leader of the Year to Sales Training Program of the Year to Sales Department of the Year. New this year were categories to recognize new products and services and solution providers.
