The hiring of IT industry veteran Patrick Doherty as CRO highlights the company’s commitment to supporting existing and new customer needs across its national and international markets
CHARLOTTE, N.C. – November 1, 2017 – Peak 10 + ViaWest, a hybrid IT infrastructure provider offering colocation, interconnection, cloud, managed solutions and professional services, today welcomes IT industry veteran, Patrick Doherty, as the company’s chief revenue officer (CRO). The addition to its leadership team, which comes on the heels of Peak 10’s acquisition of ViaWest, will help the company focus its efforts on revenue growth across new and existing customers and markets.
In this newly created role, Doherty will help the Peak 10 + ViaWest leadership team set the organization’s strategic growth plans, overseeing revenue growth and managing the daily operations of the sales team. Specifically, Doherty will lead Peak 10 + ViaWest’s sales team, and work closely with other internal teams to drive opportunities across all layers of the organization.

Prior to this position, Doherty served as president of U.S. business at OnX Enterprise Solutions, where he was responsible for driving sales growth and profit-and-loss for the U.S. market. While there, he also played a pivotal role in transitioning the legacy VAR business to a services-led model focused on hybrid IT solutions. Previously, Doherty served as the vice president of North American sales for Unisys Corporation, and was EVP of sales and chief marketing officer at Sungard Availability Services. Doherty also held sales and marketing leadership roles at AT&T.
