New Nashville Facility Brings Aggregate Capacity to 150,000 Square Feet Across Tennessee
CHARLOTTE, N.C. (Oct. 14, 2016) – National IT infrastructure, connectivity and cloud services provider, Peak 10, Inc., officially opened its operations at Carothers Parkway in Franklin, TN, bringing the company’s Tennessee footprint to more than 150,000 total square feet. The expansion includes a 70,000 square foot data center facility for Peak 10 in the market and is a direct result of growing demand for the company’s colocation, connectivity and cloud services to support greater Nashville and Tennessee’s booming healthcare and multi-site retail industries.
“Over the past 10 years, we’ve been an active participant in Nashville’s transformation into an economic engine for innovation and growth across industries from healthcare to retail,” said Chris Downie, Peak 10’s CEO. “As these industries continue to expand, organizations will rely more and more on Peak 10 across the state to help them scale and support their IT infrastructure, which serves as the backbone of their businesses. Peak 10’s new Nashville facility marks Peak 10’s largest data center in Tennessee since establishing its local presence in 2006 and makes the company one of the largest multi-tenant data center operators in the state. The facility is located in the vibrant growing community of Williamson County with direct, easy access to strong sources of power, and allows Peak 10 to continue serving its hundreds of customers in Nashville, surroundings areas, and across the US. Peak 10’s ability to accommodate large IT environments without space limitations enables companies like Tractor Supply Company to grow without constraint, concern or restriction.
“We’ve been a Peak 10 customer for several years,” said Rob Mills, CIO, Tractor Supply Company. “Our partnership with Peak 10 has enabled us with the solutions and physical data center space to support growth to over 1,500 retail stores. We appreciate Peak 10’s commitment to being a trusted IT partner and enabling delivery of innovative IT services to support the growing Nashville market.”
Peak 10’s new Nashville data center meets Tier III standards, contains a dedicated disaster recovery work area for customers, diverse redundant power feeds and connectivity solutions, and will provide 24/7/365 customer support—all aimed at helping businesses increase agility, lower costs, improve performance and focus their internal IT resources on core competencies. Like all of Peak 10’s data centers, its newest facility is compliant with numerous regulatory requirements and industry standards, including HIPAA, PCI DSS and ISO 27001.
Beyond the technology, Peak 10’s highly collaborative, customer-centric approach differentiates it from other providers – enabling the company to successfully meet businesses’ IT infrastructure needs. In 2016 alone, Peak 10 also expanded its data center presence in Charlotte and Raleigh, N.C. and Cincinnati, Ohio and opened sales offices in Chicago, Phoenix and Memphis, Tenn. The company materially expanded its managed and cloud product portfolio in 2016 to enable solutions for the customers’ evolving IT requirements. Such innovation has spanned the company’s 16-year history and has helped land Peak 10 on notable industry reports, including Gartner’s 2015 “Cloud-Enabled Managed Hosting Report, North America” and its first-ever DRaaS Magic Quadrant in 2015.
