CHARLOTTE, N.C. (January 28, 2014) – National IT infrastructure and cloud solutions provider, Peak 10 Inc., has appointed Dan Doerflein to oversee the company’s Louisville operations. As vice president and general manager, Doerflein is responsible for managing overall operations of the Louisville data center facilities including engineering, sales, business development and customer service. Doerflein joined Peak 10 in June 2013 as the vice president and general manager of Peak 10’s Cincinnati location. Due to his success in that role, and Cincinnati’s geographic proximity to Louisville, Doerflein will now oversee both locations.

A Kentucky native, Doerflein brings more than 20 years of experience in telecommunications sales management to his leadership role at Peak 10. Prior to Peak 10, Doerflein has served as area sales director at Mitel, district sales director at Windstream Communications, and led various sales capacities during his 11 years at Cincinnati Bell.

Doerflein earned a bachelor’s degree in Agriculture Economics from the University of Kentucky. Active in the community, Doerflein serves as a board member and Treasurer for Price Hill Will, a local comprehensive community development organization focused on urban renewal in Cincinnati’s Price Hill cluster of neighborhoods.

Peak 10’s Louisville operations consist of three data centers, totaling more than 25,000 square feet of raised floor, data center space. Notable Peak 10 customers in Louisville include Brown-Forman and University of Louisville Physicians. A growing number of SMBs rely on Peak 10 to maintain and protect their mission-critical data and applications – the underpinnings of their business – making Peak 10 a key business engine in the region.

In addition to its Cincinnati and Louisville locations, Peak 10 has operations in eight other U.S. cities, serving customers around the globe. For more information, visit www.peak10.com.
