Winston Churchill is quoted as saying, “If we are together nothing is impossible.”  Maybe that’s a little too dramatic when applied to the recent partnership between Peak 10 and Tech Data, but it does speak to the possibilities when a couple of IT leaders team up.

The partnership is actually a U.S. distribution agreement between Tech Data and Peak 10. Peak 10’s product portfolio will now be available to the Tech Data channel of solution providers via its TDCloud business unit’s Solutions Store.

In case you’re not aware of Tech Data, it’s one of the world’s largest distributors of IT products and services.  The company doesn’t manufacture the IT products it sells, but it does play a strategic role in getting technology products and services from its vendor partners to approximately 120,000 resellers in more than 100 countries.

In fact, Tech Data was ranked #3 among cloud services distributors in the Cloud & Technology Transformation Alliance’s (CTTA) State of the Channel Cloud Report.  Its vendor partners include Apple, Cisco, HP, IBM, Lenovo, Microsoft, Samsung, Sony, Symantec, and VMware—as well as hundreds of others.

Peak 10’s partnership with Tech Data means that when resellers/solutions providers go the Tech Data online store, they will find bundled cloud solutions from Peak 10, as well as its hybrid solutions, colocation and managed services. If they happen to be Cisco resellers, they are going to enjoy more benefits because Peak 10 is a Cisco partner ─ and Cisco is among the largest of the technology manufacturers that distribute products via Tech Data. (Peak 10 holds Cisco Cloud Provider Certification with Cisco Powered Cloud Service Designation and is the second largest provider of IaaS for Cisco North America.) Those benefits include a streamlined purchase process and access to incentives for selling Peak 10 products.

Tech Data has its own dedicated Cisco team which works with Cisco to promote its solutions ─ and those of its partners ─ to solutions providers (resellers), with an emphasis on those who sign up to be Cisco Cloud Services resellers.

All resellers can also request a consultation from Tech Data and Peak 10, if they need help in determining what they should purchase or if they need help in positioning these products to their prospects/end users.

The participation in the Tech Data channel is part of Peak 10’s continued effort to strengthen and promote its Cisco partnership and its “powered by Cisco” cloud solutions.
