Data Center Details

Peak 10 currently owns and operates 26 data center facilities in 10 key markets in the United States, and serves companies domestically and internationally. Each of our data centers adheres to proven and structured processes and procedures that ensure your technology assets are available and secure.

We stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies, and continually invest in and expand our resources to best serve our customers.

Technology and Expertise

Each Peak 10 data center features best-of-breed technology (equipment and software) and high-level physical security. Our data center facilities are also manned by on-site, trained professional staff 24x7x365, ensuring responsiveness and reliability. In addition, Peak 10 personnel are trained to follow policies and procedures to meet various audit criteria and security measurements.

Efficiency

Designed for efficiency and cost savings, all Peak 10 data centers incorporate highly efficient cooling solutions to ensure consistent temperature and humidity levels at all times to protect mission critical technology. Our data centers have raised floor cooling with cold aisle containment to help reduce energy costs.

Redundant

All critical facility components (i.e. generators, UPS and cooling systems) throughout Peak 10 data centers are redundant. With this level of redundancy, we can perform regular preventative maintenance on the equipment with no impact to the customer.

Best-in-Class Network

Peak 10 data centers are also equipped with best-in-class network features, including:

  • Dual path
  • Redundant carrier
  • Dynamic routing is handled
  • Efficient routing with route optimization
  • Flexible resource that can be increased or decreased as needed
  • Redundant carrier class infrastructure
  • Utilize OSPF, BGP and HSRP
  • 135 Gb/s aggregate network capacity
  • 96 Gb/s aggregate Internet capacity
  • Choice of 10, 100, 1,000, or 10,000 Mbps access port options

Audited and Audit-ready

The Peak 10 network of strategically located, SSAE 16-audited data centers can help customers meet the requirements of regulatory compliance acts such as Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX), HIPAA/HITECH, PCI DSS and Gramm-Leach-Bliley (GLBA).

Additional Services

Peak 10 data center facilities also provide the foundation for our reliable, secure cloud solutions , as well as a variety of managed services .

Safe and Secure

Peak 10 data centers are engineered with a minimum of five levels of security:

  • Proximity card access with PIN to enter the building required
  • Proximity card access with biometric (fingerprint) scan required
  • All hardware secured in locked cage or steel mesh cabinets with combination locks
  • Video surveillance cameras throughout
  • On-site, trained staff 24x7x365

Reliably Redundant

Each Peak 10 data center:

  • Is engineered and designed to protect critical load
  • Utilizes highly redundant power distribution system including Uninterruptible Power supplies (UPS) and generators to back up commercial power
  • Is designed to support up to 200 w/sq ft and higher
