When the IT channel community wants information and strategic guidance, it looks to CRN (Channel Reseller News) as it has for more than 30 years. This year when resellers and channel partners look to see which companies made the CRN Data Center 100, they will find Peak 10 cited in the Top 20 Service Provider segment of the list, right there with Verizon and AT&T.
According to CRN, the Data Center 100 features technology vendors whose solutions are vital for powering today’s data center or, in our case, delivering the data center infrastructure and managed services to the service provider community for its customers.
“CRN developed the list to help solution providers navigate the marketplace and identify the top companies and technologies across the data center to best meet their needs as they build solutions for their customers,” according to CRN’s announcement.
Peak 10 is working diligently to expand its channel partner network nationally, pursuing the same collaborative “partnership model” it champions in all aspects of its business for all customers. For example, one software solution provider had planned to build its own data center to host its products. Once it sat down with Peak 10 it discovered it had more options than anticipated as they scoped out a solution together. With its software running securely and reliably in a virtual private cloud, the company was able to focus on building its business. It tripled its user base in 18 months, confident that it could continue to scale operations ahead of projected growth.
“Peak 10’s IT infrastructure gives the reseller community a wide range of options with the flexibility to tailor an ideal solution for its customers. There are no cookie-cutter solutions here,” said SVP Steve Harris, who oversees partner and channel development. “Beyond the technology, we believe it’s our collaborative approach that sets us apart. We couldn’t be more pleased that our cloud solutions and managed services have received this recognition from the go-to authority in the service provider community.”
Robert Faletra, CEO of the Channel Company of which CRN is a part, summarized the criteria for selections to this year’s list saying, “The Data Center 100 list recognizes vendors that embrace innovation, efficiency and sustainability, to bring the data center to the next level. These dynamic companies are led by forward-thinking executives who understand today’s data center environment.”
Well said, Robert.
