Peak 10 Executive Spotlight: Mike Stockwell

Mike Stockwell, VP & GM of Peak 10 Jacksonville, Named to Jacksonville Business Journal's 40 Under 40

Each year, the Jacksonville Business Journal honors the area's top 40 up and coming leaders. This year, Peak 10's Mike Stockwell cracked the list. Having been with Peak 10 for seven years as a top sales performer, Stockwell was promoted to vice Vice President & General Manager for the company's Jacksonville, Fla. location in January.

Allen Skipper, Peak 10's regional vice president spoke of Stockwell saying, "Mike has always had the respect of his peers and the same goes for his customers and clients," Skipper said. "It is not often that people in sales get notes from their customers thanking them for their service, but it regularly happens to Mike. He is incredibly professional, friendly and engaging and has been a huge advocate for his customers within our organization. He is truly worthy of recognition for his professional and civic accomplishments of the past seven years."

Stockwell realized the need for a local educational and networking event for leading information technology decision makers where they could discuss important technology issue in an open forum. He created the Jacksonville CIO Roundtable Networking Council which continues to experience increasing success. Stockwell's partners and customers speak highly of him, as he is dedicated to providing exceptional customer service and support, one of the key principles on which Peak 10 was founded.

"It has always made sense for me to treat my customers as partners, and not just as a sale, because we rely on each other to be successful" he said. "When I came up with the idea for the CIO Roundtable, I wanted to provide a safe and pressure-free forum for them to discuss things that are vital to their job. The feedback has been wonderful, and my goal is to grow it big enough that we can no longer host it at Peak 10."
