Web 2.0: An internet entrepreneur's perspective on the technology & the consumers pushing the web forward.

Thursday June 12, 2008 • 2:00pm • Charlotte, NC

Peak 10 invites you to an informative discussion on Web 2.0 and beyond, sponsored by Logical Advantage and CNP Technologies. Travis Parsons, founder and CEO of Browzmi, Inc., will share his insight on how the nature of the web is constantly changing from a successful entrepreneur's perspective. Travis will also share his local perspective as he continues to buck the industry trend by keeping his cutting edge company at home in Charlotte and out of Silicon Valley.

Travis Parsons is the founder and CEO of Browzmi Inc. Travis grew up in Charlotte and graduated from UNC in 1994. Travis worked for Bank of America Capital Investors and BluePoint Capital Partners prior to founding Elogex Inc. in 1999. Elogex provided Internet-based logistics applications to large retailers such as Kroger, Safeway, and Home Depot and their hundreds of supply chain partners. In 2003, an investment group purchased a majority interest in Elogex and renamed the company One Network. Travis left One Network in 2006 to start Browzmi, a place online where friends can instant message and surf the web together.

Please join us at the historic Palmer Building on Thursday, June 12th, at 2:00pm. The Palmer Building is located at 2601 E 7th St. in Charlotte. Click here for a map of this location.
