Move over virtualization specialists and network administrators. Cloud career skills are the most lucrative to have and in greatest demand, followed by security, according to recruiting firm Robert Half Technology.
“The fact that so many companies are investing in cloud initiatives and training for their teams means that there are rich opportunities and a clear career path for IT professionals with cloud skills,” according to Phil Sheridan, UK managing director at Robert Half Technology, which asked 100 IT directors and CIOs for their opinion.
As if we need more proof, this speaks to the dynamism of the cloud as the place to be for both service users and service providers. Raising the cloud intelligence quotient on both sides of the service equation can only accelerate value creation and satisfaction. A steady flow of continuous improvement, technology advancements, creative usage models, better results and more robust and secure infrastructure is virtually assured.
At Peak 10 we take pride in hiring individuals with exceptional skills and high-level certifications beyond the norm. Continuous training and improvement are expected. But, that’s not enough. We hire the right people, individuals who will proactively work together and take responsibility for delivering outstanding customer service and value creation today.
