Nearly one-quarter of a million people participated in this year’s Cisco Live in San Francisco (May 18-22), either on-location or virtually. The buzz there was around the Internet of Everything (IoE) and the role of Intercloud, which Cisco describes as “a seamless fabric between the world of many clouds.”
Peak 10 was there, along with scores of other companies carving out their places in the Intercloud. A number of providers there offered Cisco Powered cloud and managed services, but only Peak 10 could boast of being the first in the Americas to achieve Cisco Powered Disaster Recovery as a Service (DRaaS) designation under the Cisco® Cloud and Managed Services Advanced Certification .
At the conference Cisco’s senior manager of Global Partner Marketing, Xander Uyleman, was creating a video-blog series about the future of cloud computing as seen through the eyes of Cisco partners. He spoke with Steve Harris, senior vice president of National Alliances about that, as well as how Peak 10 sets itself apart in the cloudscape and rises above the industry noise. Steve described the indisputable advantage of working with great partners and how, without that, producing the business outcomes customers demand and expect would not be possible.
