Tampa Bay Business Journal Names Peak 10 a 2010 Best Place to Work
TAMPA, Fla. (March 18, 2010) – Peak 10 Inc., a managed services company with world-class data centers, is proud to announce that its Tampa location has been named a 2010 Best Place to Work by the Tampa Bay Business Journal. An award celebration luncheon will be held today to recognize the top three ranking companies in each category as well as announce the overall Best Place to Work for 2010. The luncheon is hosted by the Tampa Bay Business Journal along with sponsors GTE Federal Credit Union, Fowler White Boggs, P.A. and Quantum Market Research.
“Our entire team is honored for Peak 10 to be listed as one of the Best Places to Work in Tampa,” said Debra Curtiss, the vice president and general manager of Peak 10 Tampa. “We take great pride in the work that we do and the local companies that we serve. We’re glad that the positive and supportive culture we maintain has been recognized by the surrounding community.”
The Tampa Bay Business Journal selected participating companies from submitted nominations. These submissions were reviewed by Quantum Market Research, an independent human resources survey firm. Employees of the nominated companies were surveyed by Quantum and point values were assigned to each response. The awards were decided based on a culmination of these points.
“This gratifying award reflects the respect our employees have for our company,” said Allen Skipper, senior vice president of market operations at Peak 10. “Our unparalleled level of customer service stems from our employees’ own passion for their work. I continue to be impressed by Peak 10’s ability to be both an industry leader and possess a culture that promotes diversity, personal growth and collaboration.”
In July 2009, Peak 10 was named one of Florida’s Best Companies to Work For by Florida Trend magazine. The company was one of 100 recognized in small, medium and large company categories.
