Peak 10 Launches Nashville Technology Assistance Program with Support from Leading Technology and Business Associations

Managed Services Leader Unveils Regional TAP Program to Assist Local Businesses

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Feb. 1, 2010) – Peak 10 Inc., a managed services company with world-class data centers, launched the Nashville Technology Assistance Program (TAP) in conjunction with prominent local technology and business associates. The program will provide essential technology support and expertise to promising start-up and early-stage companies in an effort to encourage and support business incubation in the region.
 
TAP support will be provided to the first 30 companies accepted to the program. These businesses will receive cabinet space within data center facilities on Peak 10 Nashville’s campus, enhanced power for client hardware, highly redundant Internet access and IP addresses to run their equipment in the data center. Peak 10 will also waive any one-time or monthly recurring costs for a 6-month period, up to a $5,000 value.
 
“We are thrilled to have the opportunity not only to work this closely with business and technology leaders in the local community, but also to be able to offer start-up and early-stage companies the chance to put some roots down and grow,” said Drew Fassett, the vice president and general manager of Peak 10 Nashville. “We understand how challenging this economic climate can be, particularly for young companies. We want to offer all the support we can to help the Nashville business economy continue to develop.”
 
To bring TAP to Nashville businesses, Peak 10 is working hand-in-hand with the Nashville Technology Council, the Nashville Chamber of Commerce, , and Solidus Company. These supporting organizations will engage eligible businesses through their member networks, as well as assist in the programs’ qualification process.
