The PEAK 10, Inc. Abuse Center
The PEAK 10 Abuse Center is responsible for upholding the policies set forth in the PEAK 10, Inc. Master Service Agreement and Acceptable Usage Policy. The policies set forth in the Acceptable Use Policy are, in part, to help protect our customers from the consequences of malicious users or attacks on the PEAK 10 networks.

When a customer is a victim of Internet abuse, we also do what we can to help them direct their complaint to the proper reporting agency or initiator within a PEAK 10 Technology Gateway Center. If the complaint is against a PEAK 10, Inc. customer we will take appropriate action in accordance with the policies set forth in the PEAK 10, Inc. Acceptable Use Policy.

For emergency issues, our Customer Care Center is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week by calling: 1-866-732-5836

Emergency issues are:

  • A report of criminal activity (e.g. child pornography or illegal gambling)
  • A situation in which life is threatened
  • A situation in which there is imminent threat of substantial damage or destruction of property

NetBIOS Filtering

There is a certain amount of risk involved in using an "always on" connection and File & Printer Sharing (also known as NetBIOS). For protection, we recommend that customers disable file sharing on their systems.
