ATLANTA (January 8, 2010) – Peak 10 Inc., a managed services company with world-class data centers, today announced the addition of a second enterprise-class facility on its Atlanta campus. The completion of the 10,000 square foot facility will bring Atlanta’s total footprint to more than 33,000 square feet. This expansion comes on the heels of Peak 10’s recent $95 million credit facility expansion led by RBC Capital Markets.

Like all Peak 10 facilities which meet enterprise-class standards, the new Atlanta data center is engineered with multiple levels of security, uninterruptible power, cooling systems, fire suppression and around-the-clock monitoring and management. It is SAS70 Type II compliant and interconnected with Peak 10’s private network, which provides customers the advantage of highly available Internet access and the ability to leverage data centers in nine other markets in implementing disaster recovery solutions.

To ensure an unparalleled level of stability and facility integrity, the new Atlanta facility will undergo a formal commissioning process prior to customer installations. Leveraging an industry leading facilities engineering and IT consulting firm, Peak 10’s data center commissioning is a structured process which establishes the capability and reliability of mission critical infrastructure. The process includes multiple and repeatable test cycles using equipment that simulates how the data center operates at various load levels and failover conditions.
