The Peak 10 management team is comprised of talented and respected professionals with more than 100 years of combined experience leading entrepreneurial companies that are customer-focused and market-driven.
David co-founded Peak 10 in March of 2000 and has led the company to a top market position as the leading independent data center and managed services provider in the United States. As the company's President and Chief Executive Officer, David has assembled a talented management team which has worked together to build the industry's strongest balance sheet and income statement as well as a solid forecast for long-term growth and continued profitability as the company continues to expand existing data centers and enter into new markets. In 2006 Peak 10 was named to Inc. magazine's annual ranking of the 500 fastest-growing private companies in the country for the second straight year. David has displayed a passionate entrepreneurial spirit, exceptional instincts and leadership skills, and the ability to stay focused and deliver results throughout his career. Prior to forming Peak 10, he was president of the Competitive Solutions Group at CHR Solutions, a telecommunications management-consulting firm based in Dallas, Texas. David was also involved in several other start-up firms, including Atlanta-based SouthernNet/Telecom*USA (acquired by MCI). He has over 25 years of combined executive leadership experience in sales, marketing and operations with Telecom*USA and MCI. David is a Virginia native and holds a B.A. degree in Economics from the University of Virginia, in addition to completing the Executive Development Business Program at George Washington University. Active in the community, David is vice chairman of the board of directors for the North Carolina Technology Association and serves on the board of directors of the Steele Creek YMCA in Charlotte. He also has served on the executive committee and board of directors for the Charlotte Chamber of Commerce and is the former chairman of the Business Innovation and Growth (BIG) Council. A Virginia native his interests include outdoor fitness activities, cycling and running, with a long history of marathon racing and currently ownership of a bicycle business which caters to a broad range of active sports and sponsors two professional racing teams. |
